Professional and corporate portraits
Almost nobody enjoys having their photograph taken. Most people arrive slightly braced for it, convinced they aren't photogenic, and expecting to spend twenty awkward minutes being told to relax.
That part is my job, not yours. I keep sessions short and unfussy, I'll tell you what to do with your hands, and I'll show you the back of the camera early so you can see it's going fine. Being at ease in front of a lens isn't a talent people are born with. It's something a decent photographer is supposed to manage for you.
I usually work on location rather than in a studio, which means your team can step out for ten minutes and go straight back to their desks. It also means the pictures look like they belong to your business rather than to a grey backdrop. Where a set needs to be consistent across a whole company, it will be: same lighting, same treatment, same crop, whether we shoot everyone in one day or add new starters six months later.
What you get back is a portrait that looks like you on a good day. Recognisable, professional, and something you're happy to put on a website, a LinkedIn profile or a tender document without wincing.

Most of us have almost no good photographs of ourselves. Plenty of blurry phone shots, a few from someone else's wedding, and nothing that actually looks like us.
A portrait session fixes that, and it's far less of an ordeal than people expect. I keep things relaxed and conversational, give you clear direction so you're never left guessing what to do, and work at a pace that lets you settle in rather than performing from the first frame. You don't need to be photogenic. You need someone paying attention to light, angle and timing, which is what I’m responsible for.
Whether it's for a new business, a milestone, or simply because you're overdue a decent picture of yourself, you'll come away with images that look like you at your best rather than someone doing an impression of you.
